Definitions

"Specification" shall mean the digitized Radio Base Station internal interface specification as further described in the "Specification" section of the CPRI homepage
(see www.cpri.info/spec.html).

"Parties" shall mean the five companies cooperating to define the CPRI Specification: Ericsson AB, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, NEC Corporation, Nokia Siemens Networks and Alcatel-Lucent. When referred to individually, the term "Party" is used. In connection with CPRI specification versions 1.4, 2.1, 3.0. 4.0 and 4.1 "Parties" shall include in addition Nortel Networks SA, who was member of the CPRI cooperation till December 2009.

The terms "RE" and "REC" shall mean Radio Equipment and Radio Equipment Control as described and/or specified in the "Specification" section of the CPRI homepage
(see www.cpri.info/spec.html).

 

 

 

CPRI cooperation is now working on the inclusion of new features like further line bitrates and GSM support, which will be published in new versions of the CPRI specification in due time.

The CPRI Specification version 4. 1  (in addition to 1.4, 2.1, 3.0 , 4.0 )  is now available for download on the Specification section of this homepage. The new 4. 1  release extends  the specification to encompass higher line-rates for LTE (Long Term Evolution). A variety of CPRI products have been made available to the market by the individual CPRI Parties.

The CPRI Specification versions 4.0 (in addition to 1.4, 2.1, 3.0)  is now available for download on the Specification section of this homepage. The new 4.0 release extend the specification to encompass the developments for LTE (Long Term Evolution). A variety of CPRI products have been made available to the market by the individual CPRI Parties.

CPRI specifications version 1.4, 2.1, and 3.0 are now available for download. Version 3.0 contains the addition of WiMAX, an increase in the line bit rate and the inclusion of change requests. Version 1.4 and 2.1 is unchanged.

CPRI specifications version 1.4 and 2.1 are now available for download. Version 1.4 contains editorial and corrective changes from version 1.3. Version 2.1 contains editorial and corrective changes from version 2.0.
