Publishing principles

The Parties have agreed that the scope of the cooperation as well as the progress of the development work for the Specification and the agreed Specification or parts thereof shall be published on a regular basis to provide all interested third parties with access to Specification information.

CPRI cooperation is now working on the inclusion of new features like further line bitrates and GSM support, which will be published in new versions of the CPRI specification in due time.

The CPRI Specification version 4. 1  (in addition to 1.4, 2.1, 3.0 , 4.0 )  is now available for download on the Specification section of this homepage. The new 4. 1  release extends  the specification to encompass higher line-rates for LTE (Long Term Evolution). A variety of CPRI products have been made available to the market by the individual CPRI Parties.

CPRI specifications version 1.4, 2.1, and 3.0 are now available for download. Version 3.0 contains the addition of WiMAX, an increase in the line bit rate and the inclusion of change requests. Version 1.4 and 2.1 is unchanged.
